Funny T-shirt shops are two-a-penny. They seem to be everywhere. But there are a good number that just aren’t funny. They just seem to re-hash the same old crap. But somehow I came across Blue Man T-shirts who are a fresh breeze through the arid would of funny and offensive t-shirts. So I thought it was time for another thorough review since my last one.

How Funny Are The Funny T-Shirts?

Well there are the usual Facebook ones such as the “I Like Facebook” T-shirt, but there’s a whole host of political ones such as “Gordon’s Credit Crunch”, which I thought was pretty apt with all the news coming out about how he and his cronies completely shafted us all. I also liked the “As seen in front of the TV” t-shirt as well as some of the play on words ones that the Two Ronnies would have loved such as “Go Puck Yourself” and the “Kenya Dig It?” t-shirt.

There’s some good drinking t-shirts such as the “Everyone needs something to believe in, and I believe I need another beer”, the “How’s my Drinking? Call 0800 D-R-U-N-K”, and the “My Name is Dave, And I’m an Alcoholic” t-shirt, the 0823 days – since I last gave a shit” and the “How’s my Skiving” t-shirts.

But it’s the rude and offensive t-shirts that I feel they do well one. Apart from the usual threesome t-shirts, there’s a fairly graphic poker t-shirt, some good ones playing on the MySpace angel and some nice “me and your mum” s-shirts.

I also liked the office humour t-shirts, particularly the “I bring nothing to the table” and the “most likely to steal the office supplies” t-shirt. And for those that like sporty t-shirts, there’s some humorous ones to choose from.

But Are The T-shirts Any Good?

Well the cool guys at Blue Man sent me a random t-shirt to review. I knew you guys liked offensive ones so I ended up with the Infidel one which is quite apt as knew that t-shirts based on race and religion are very popular when it comes to offensive t-shirts. I’ve got a number of friends that are Muslims and I know the vast majority of them won’t be offended by it. As a Christian (of limited conviction) we’re constantly having the piss taken out of us – it seems it’s a sport and hobby of the ‘establishment’. So why not make the humour a bit more equitable?

When you look at the definition of the word “infidel” then it does show the hypocrisy of some: “a person who does not believe in religion or who adheres to a religion other than one’s own”. So for those that actually know what the word means it’d be even more humorous. For those that don’t, they’re more likely to find it funny purely due to the fact that it’s displayed next to Arabic writing. The only thing is, I have no idea what the script means. It could be saying “the guy wearing this t-shirt is a twat!”?

The t-shirt arrived in good condition within a blue bag and by special delivery. There’s no way that it’d get damaged as it works its way to you (with normal Royal Mail peeps).

The general shape was very good, there was good room for my neck. I’m a medium build, in that I’m not fat. But I have a 40″ chest and a 16.5″ neck. There was plenty of room around the bits you need it to.

And what about the quality of the t-shirt itself?

The thread was tight, there were no loose bits hanging off and felt that that the transfer wouldn’t fade anywhere near as the multi-colour one I bought from T-shirts United has. I’ll wear it a few times and report back. As its bloody hot and her-in-doors likes washing on low temperatures I’ll let you know how it gets on with a few washes.

Rating:

Variety: 80% – Blue Man had a very good variety of t-shirts to choose from.
Humour: 75% – they’ve definitely at the upper end of the humour scale. Some t-shirt shops just list the same old drivel. Blue Man does have a good number that’ll draw a very big smile and the odd audible chuckle when you’re out.
Ease of buying: 90% – my mother could use it!
Delivery: 75% – as a small company they’re not going to hold large stock levels. Be nice to them. 4-7 days isn’t bad. But you do get FREE DELIVERY. I do think they should make that fact a bit more prominent though.
Price: 85% – at £14 they’re very well priced!
Overall: 81% – a very good score! Well done guys

Don’t you just hate those crap World Cup Football tshirts that the supermarkets and some of the hightstreet fashion stores sell. They’re just not funny. Well, I’m not going to say that this “3 Lines on a shirt” t-shirt is the funniest t-shirt ever, but it is more than some of the crap we’re offered up on daily basis! And for £14.99 from Visual Candy, you’re not really breaking the bank. What I do know is that its really unlikely that anyone of your mates is also going to have this t-shirt!

Wanking On A Bus T-Shirt

The guys at DeFrunt have come up with this t-shirt that just made me wet myself! The slogan says: “If a women is uncomfortable watching me wank, she should sit somewhere else on the bus!” Ahhh the memories! I’ll leave it there! What a great offensive t-shirt! If you catch the bus to college or work then you just have to get this t-shirt to see what the old bids and young girls react when they read it! They’ll probably think “the dirty fucker!”

I’m not normally one for slogan t-shirts as they’re typically not all that funny, but I actually liked this “Today’s Word is Legs – Spread The Word” T-Shirt. It’s totally suited for getting shit-faced on your holiday to Megamuff or Ibiza or wherever you’re trying to get to this summer. I heard the birds in Ryll are pretty easy, so if this ash cloud hangs around for a few months then get your arse up there! I think they can read in North Wales?

John Prescott is an idiot IMHO – not only because he’s blocked me on Twitter, but because he cheated on his wife and blamed her for them taking a Jag to go 50 yards down the road – or something like that. This guy can give it, but he can’t take it. He punches people because he had an egg thrown at him – no other politician has done this. He’s spent his life taking the piss out of posh people and the upper classes and the it looks like he’s going to accept a Lordship, or at the very least a knighthood from Moron Brown.

You’ve got to love people’s perception of the police. Perhaps its because I’m a law-abiding citizen most of the time – I do believe I have j-walked once and I might have shot a Welshman with a bow and arrow on market day in Chester – oh that’s legal isn’t it. But you get the drift. If you’re not happy with the way you’ve been treated by the police in the past then bag yourself one of these “Community Policing” T-shirts from Sabcat for just £12!
