Bathroom Wall T-Shirts Reviewed – Artistic and Band TShirts
25 August 2009 in General by adminI was going to a relaxed work BBQ so I thought I’d get myself a nice new t-shirt. Having ignored the ones that offered next day delivery because I wanted something different, I headed over to Bathroom Wall as they had a huge range of unusual t-shirts that I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy.
I managed to negotiate getting the t-shirt delivered the next day and I’m very grateful for their quick replies to emails and Twitter messages.
Delivery: 7/10 options are limited, but they do seem to print them individually and to order so that can be excused.
Now first off I’ll go through the slection that they have to offer. It looks like they specialise in music t-shirts with t-shirts of guitar hereos such as BB King, Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Chris Rea, DAvid Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Howlin’ Wolf, Jeff Beck, Jeff Healey, Jimi Page, Joe Striani, John Lee Hooker, Keith Richards, Kirt Cobain, Mark Knoffler, Noel Gallagher, Pete Downsend, Slash, Steve Vai and Tony Iommi. They;ve also got t-shirts of every lead singer that could rock your soul including Iggy Popp, Bono and Ian Brown. If you wanted t-shirts of heavy metal bands then you’ve got Ozzy OSbourne, Angus Young and a whole host of others. They also cater for Alternative Rock, Punk, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Hip Hop, Southern Rock and Country.
But they don’t just limit themselves to music t-shirts. They also have t-shirts featuring cult movies, comedians, cultural icons, writers and philosophers. But they do let themselves down with “Dr Who T-Shirts”.
If you wanted sporting t-shirts then they’ve got motor racing ones, football, boxing and cricket covered.
One section I did like wa their pet dictators and potato republic ones. But when I was looking I plumped for the Joy of Sex T-Shirt.
Variety: 7/10 – slightly weighted to rock, but they do that niche exceptionally well
The package is as you’d expect: tightly sealed and ready to protect the t-shirt inside from the rigours of the British weather:
The t-shirt itself came out largely uncreased and fit to wear straight away. There were no horrible surprises and was in perfect condition.
Perhaps the neck was a touch too tight for the size of the t-shirt, but that’s my fault for having a thick neck.
The quality of the print was superb too. There’s almost no change of it peeling or flaking and I’d trust the missus to iron it without spoiling it.
And the price, at £13.99 they’re at the lower level of the unique t-shirts bracket which is damn fine when you consider they’re largely printed to order.
Price: 8/10
In terms of ordering, it was a relatively simply process, everything was simple, streamlined and efficient. You got notification when your items were dispatched and you could say it was faultless. The only downside was the design – but I’m just a bit of a philistine about stuff like that.
Ordering: 8.5/10
Overall: 7.625 – great score – I’ll be shopping from Bathroom Wall again.

[...] Funny T-shirt shops are two-a-penny. They seem to be everywhere. But there are a good number that just aren’t funny. They just seem to re-hash the same old crap. But somehow I came across Blue Man T-shirts who are a fresh breeze through the arid would of funny and offensive t-shirts. So I thought it was time for another thorough review since my last one. [...]
